While on the trail you can request an earlier or later pick-up date, and in most instances, we can do it if we are heading out that day and if we have room in the vehicles. There is no extra fee or cost to do so if your pick-up location hasn't changed.
When it's busy in June, July, and August, it can be a bit complicated with availability, though, and we can't help with as many requests for earlier or later pick-up changes as much as we would like to.
Either way, LTTS customers need to get in touch with us at least 4-5 days prior to the original booked date. Most people get in touch via their mobiles or via SMS when they get reception on the trail, mostly along the high ground, or via satellite messaging etc We may not be able to confirm your date request straight away but will confirm asap what we can or can't do. Don't assume your request has been approved until you receive a reply confirming the change.
There will be a $55 Booking Mortification Fee, which you will need to pay on the trail when you make the request.
